3 Things wrong with your idli's and dosa's.

I had a client a few weeks back, she used to exercise everyday, Eat the healthiest breakfast there is on the Indian cuisine- Idli and dosa, but always used to complain about bloating? After asking her few questions, I spotted out one mistake.
She was buying store bought fermented batter for her idli and dosa. Now this is a mistake everyone does.
Fermented foods are the best when it comes to probiotics but, The most common reaction to fermented foods is bloating & gas. For this, we are advised to soak the batter for maximum 7-8 hours.
We all know this obviously that store bought fermented batters are soaked for more than 12 hours. This was the first thing.
Now the second thing, is that they add boric acid to the batter to get rid of the foul smell. Boric acid is meant to be on carrom boards and not in the batter, now imagine the amount of harm it does to your body.
Third thing is that they add EColi bacteria to help it ferment, now EColi when left for long hours produces excess gas and even gives you gut problems.
So, say bye bye to store bought kheeru for your own good.
