Biden student loan plan could help 30 million Americans

President Biden has announced a new student debt relief plan that could lower or erase the loan balance for up to 30 million Americans. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) joins Joy Reid to discuss this "life-changing" relief.

The Universities need to be pinned down on this question.
I believe that many senators and congressmen are invested in the education loan process, please stop the lies.

BTW, there was a time when the Federal Government subsidized higher education. Reagan, when he was governor of California, he did away with State subsidies and when he was president, he did away with Federal subsidies. Of course, that opened up loans for education at market rates and here we are.

Our future professionals do not deserve to be saddled with crushing debt throughout their careers. I had my student loan forgiven after nursing school if I worked in a federally-designated high need hospital. It was a win:win for both myself and the people I served.

Helping students with their education, will help them get better jobs, they pay their taxes, which can be put to use again. It should become a circle of life to share and increase knowledge and resources.

Putting a cap on the interest that lenders can charge on student loans will get rid of predatory lenders and eliminate the need for debt forgiveness in the future.

The debt is NOT cancelled. It's just transferred to people who did not incur it and who do not benefit from it. Is that fair?

He has already violated his oath to the Constitution, separation of powers. And you're okay with that!
And the Supreme Court has ruled that he can't do that. So he is violating court orders as well.

Voters need make there voices heard and demand an end to Trickle Down Economics. Money should be spent on food security, affordable housing, education, and health care!

He's "cancelled" debt mostly for people who already paid their debt, some of them many times over.

Yes, this is good, but the system needs to be changed going forward or we'll be going through this all over again in another generation.

The average German college graduate has $2000 in student loan debt. Other countries know that their college graduates are the future of their economies and treat them as such.
