The expensive one won in my opinion because it blew up faster therefore you don’t have to waste as much time blowing a bunch of them up.
(Plus it looks way better then just plain red)

Cheap definitely wins. Expensive sounds better, but if all of your balloons pop on a very special day you're going to be pissed.

Cheap didn't win in this outcome. The cheaper balloon has a higher surface tension thus taking more pressure to fill it up. That's why the expensive balloon filled up quicker and easier with a fixed amount of pressure. If you were using gas or air, you would need less to fill the balloons to max size.

Surface tension is increase by the thickness of the balloons. You can clearly tell the expensive one is using a foil type material where the cheap is using a rubber /latex material and is clearly thicker.

The Exspensive popped first cuz it had a head start bit I can honestly say as a looner myself the best and most durable balloons I ever used are the punch balloons from the dollar tree only the one that are made in Mexico and come in the 3 pack they are hard to pop when at 6 to 9 inches

The color pattern has a lot to do with it, too, believe it or not. Try at least 4 different companies and/or different sizes together to have a more realistic comparison.

Technically cheap didn’t win, the expensive one inflated to a slightly bigger size. The cheap one is thicker.
