Well sometimes not everyone has a business, and I bought balloons from amazon because, I live in a small town and it'd be hard to acquire the high quality ones. I just needed them for my birthday, and if you're just looking for something for a birthday or a small party I'd say it's good enough 🤷🏻‍♀️

You had already decided to hate it before starting to assemble it. "Pros" will never say anything good about what you can buy at Amazon for a fraction of the price. This was entertaining, but not at all fair. Still buying the Amazon kit, I find it beautiful

I bought 2 balloon sets and a few statement balloons off Shein for under $25 for my nephew and niece's birthday party, which I did myself. The balloons were thinner, but didn't have the color issue your kit seemed to have. We only had a few pop during assembly and because kids played with the balloon arch, but otherwise they worked really well. We got plenty of compliments and even some people asking for us to do their kid's next event (I have a job, so no).

My issue was I tried to find quality balloon sites, but they either wanted me to be a business owner, or I wasn't able to get the number of balloons I wanted and would have had buy more than necessary. Seems like quality is either gatekept or cost prohibitive, and hiring for it is really too out of budget.

Just so you know, you are supposed to put one ballon in each hole of the garland strip not two and it turns out looking full and good.

Great vid. I would have liked to see it completed with the included strip to place the balloons together. It is not easy to tie balloons together at times. Thank you for your nice examples.

We newbies who jus want some cheap balloons enjoy buying these kits. (Based on my conversion rate they are sometimes expensive)
Fa real tho I understand ur frustration especially when u r used to doing something for so long professionally. Was listening to a balloon podcast the other day and learnt that "balloon is not a necessity it is a luxury". In that way clients will pay for the art work. It is indeed a lot of work especially when you have to arrange and organize colour schemes. Balloon art is a lot of work, the materials are expensive and the work put into it is also expensive. U guys are great at what you do. Keep it up

Prime example of “you get what you pay for.” I’ve used Amazon kits & I’ve used top notch brands. The kit examples do tend to be misleading & the balloons are considerably thinner. You can’t compare a kit price to a balloon artist’s pricing. She’s charging for labor, artistry, & expertise. Same reason you pay more for a professional to do jobs for you that you could DIY for half the price.

She knew the quality from the get go, so sure, she was going to be biased, but great example for others to see the comparison between a DIY kit & a professional grade product.

I think you should have added the same back drop stand to the Amazon Kit like you did with yours, along with the decor.
Seems like as a professional you could make it work either way, but for viewers to get a better understanding and clearer picture of the way it will look it’s best to have both stand look similar to compare cosmetic flaws.
Try again because they look the same only difference is the colors and the amount

I have made my own balloon garlands myself and I have use kits to and I have never had the issues you had, you just got a bad one lmao. I would say just be smart on the brand and the one you buy next time because most balloons kit are worth it if your a beginner.

So you almost tripped the amount of balloons, added backdrops and flowers and doubled layer your balloons and want to compare them? Yeah definitely will work….😂 i don’t think anyone is going on Amazon hoping to get the same outcome as a professional…….

As a professional balloon artist, when clients call for pricing they are often taken aback by the price because they will send me the picture from Amazon and say, “I can get these balloons for less than $20 and you charge how much???” Some will have the nerve to say, “I will buy the kit will you put it together for me? “. Of course I would never accept that - you know the client that brings up the Amazon kit will never pay what I charge. Oh well.
