Awesome review! Dig the ClonerAlliance ViewPro - I like the idea of having the monitor built-in, so you can view the video being captured or use it as a player. I have a boatload of old family videos (multiple formats) and this would definitely help get them in digital format to share!

Great Video! Cloner Alliance UHD Pro for me! Simplicity is key for me...I record a lot of stuff on spur of the moment. So hitting a button and away you go is great. I also like that recording in the H.265 format uses less space for recording...more storage room on your flash or hard drive. Better quality, too! 👍

All my recorded videos have that digitized blocky look when i record… Especially as light transitions in the movie… Is there a setting to fix that? Even if i record at a higher rate…

I want to record off my fios set top box. The release name is FCL-1.1 (QAM). I cannot record on my Hauppague Collosus capture card. On the old set top fios box it had component and composite RCA outputs. I had no problem recording although I could not record the HDMI output. This set top box has no outputs other than HDMI. I want to know if the Cloner-Alliance Video Recorder can record from the set top box even if it's a QAM box. I believe these QAM channels are clear. And what if they are scrambled. Will these boxes work, and which one or both? Thank you for your help.

The Cloner Alliance Box Pro or the View Pro would be great, While watching your video, I was thinking I have a German friend for several years and he doesn't have internet, and was thinking would be awesome to record News and variety shows from Germany for him from my TV service, all I would need to get would be larger size flash drive, He can use in his tv. He is always asking me about German news etc. Thanks so much for doing this offer.

UHD Pro is a solid product with some nevatives. Disappointed that it can not record 5.1 audio. It converts audio source to 2 channel AAC. Maybe even worse it doesnt pass-through 5.1 either. That sucks!!!

I could also time-shift live streams, since I'm not at home all the time!

I would love to own one of these. I watch YouTube on my tv on and off all day long. Unfortunately I am disabled, no sob story, just a fact. I'm hoping to transfer the best of the tubes videos to other devices that will allow me to keep occupied during long trips to clinics, etc. Not sure how difficult this will all be but the struggle will be worth it! I have the Cloner Pro and am very unhappy with it so far. In attempting to record HDMI I get no audio. I have tried contacting Cloner support with no joy. Also attempted other sources including the manual but no joy. Suggestions?
