Interesting, but in general I don’t know if a tree is the best way to represent these relationships in video form. We do that in a static image because we have no other option; but in video there may be more accurate ways to represent “evolution”, instead of “descent”, which is what trees convey.

Language doesn’t have the same clean descent as say biological relationships, where one can clearly say someone is a “parent” or a “child”. It’s the same group of people who were speaking one language and at some point we say they are now speaking a different language. Just some random thoughts sparked thanks to your short, keep up the good work 👍

no bengali was a local tribal language which got heavily sanskritize, probably true for marathi, thats why they sound so 🤮
