Trudeau had 'good call' with Trump after tariff threat

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said a “Team Canada approach” is going to be vital in the face of sweeping new tariffs being pledged by U.S. president-elect Donald Trump.

Trudeau said he had a “good call” with Trump, who announced Monday night that he will sign an executive order imposing a 25 per cent tariff on all products coming into the United States from Canada and Mexico once he comes into office.

“We obviously talked about laying out the facts, talking about how the intense and effective connections between our two countries flow back and forth,” Trudeau told reporters in Ottawa before a cabinet meeting.

“We talked about some of the challenges that we can work on together. It was a good call.”

So, an incredibly obvious tell that indicates that someone is not telling you the truth is when they are shaking there head back and forth in a "no" gesture while telling you something. I have noticed that Trudeau is a fairly accomplished "not the truth" teller but here he seems nervous and off his game. I think Trump is eating Trudeaus lunch.

JT can’t bring himself to say the words “President Trump” and he actually thinks he should be respected … give me a break.
As long as “we the people” allow JT to rule us and lord over us we will be met with harsh tariffs! Trump has been very clear about that. He’s trying to help us help ourselves but he’s not going to do it for us!
