How to remove the red 'Steam will stop running on Windows 7/8.x in 0 days' banner

In this video, I will show you how to remove that red banner at the top of Steam, if you are running Windows 7 or 8/8.1. Personally, I don't mind, but I know a few people who might prefer not to have it, and I didn't see any videos on this!

This is so far out in left field, how would you even think to do this let alone figure out how to get in an do that? I can't figure the logic of how one would even figure this out. The code itself is really odd to figure out
