I spent countless hours in the cab of a 910.
Often working around the clock to get harvest done before rain.
On a Moonlit Montana night, I fell asleep and went for a swim in an Irrigation ditch.
The 910 didn't survive the plunge.
That was one expensive nap.

That's faster than most commercial lawn mowers. That's insane.

Going that fast it must be a very smooth field. I average about 6 mph with my disc mower, I have a few fields I can run 8 mph and done it a few times but most of the time I don’t. I have some fields I have to run about 4 1/2 mph. I live in Kentucky we have hills.

New Holland that's a blast from the past good to see they're still in business and delivering the products the farmer needs

Yeah if it's smooth. We have a JD R 450. With a 16 ft head can cut 50 acres an hour. Fun as hell to

Ahh brings me back to the day. Hearing these run all night. It was kind of relaxing.

My dad taught me at a young age how to run a Claas chopper cutting corn turning it into silage i was probably like 11 or 10 years old driving a 500, 000$ machine or maybe 300, 000$ not 100% sure but man those where the days man i got a job from his boss when i was 14 getting paid under the table running them big machines it was the best time of my life i absolutely loved it! When we talked on the cv radio every truck that came to my machine was absolutely baffled lmfao even at the end of the day when we park our choppers next to eachother every trucker would come out and ask how did i know how to run the machine always mentioned my dad love that man to death was never about the money I enjoyed every moment

One reason I remember being explained by my father a farmer and my uncle for going slow through a field was because of woodchucks, groundhogs, holes everywhere in the field. That's why farmers carry rifles sometimes to kill groundhogs that dig these holes in the fields. You go that fast and hit one of those groundhog holes you're going to break an axle. Try it sometime, oh you are. Good luck with that. Oh by the way and even used to break horses legs while they are plowing or mowing, this was about 1960s at the latest.

Damn I'm impressed. I run the parts counter at the New Holland dealership in Weatherford Texas. Haven't seen any of those units around here... We're just far enough west that is probably a little too dry to need them.

New Holland makes top notch hay equipment. Never ran a swather, but spent a lot time running 1049 and 1069 stack-cruisers.
