Hey Walker Absolutely resonate with the insights shared in this video regarding the roles of System Integrators vs. Solution Architects. Drawing from my 9- year journey as a Systems Engineer in the carbide-cutting tool industry, transitioning into a Technical Operations Analyst within a FDA-regulated medical device company, I can attest to the truths laid out here.

The ability to not be tethered to a single technology is crucial for driving company progress. However, the real challenge often lies in navigating the intricate dynamics of corporate politics, coupled with the responsibility of making complex concepts comprehensible to engineering managers and other stakeholders. It’s a demanding yet fulfilling path that requires a blend of resilience, adaptability, and effective communication.

Looking ahead, my next move or goal is to step into a Solution Architect role. I aim to leverage this position to make a more significant impact in the realm of digital manufacturing, harnessing the insights and experiences I’ve garnered to drive innovation and efficiency. Enjoying your video continue the good work .

Truly Amazing and well explained. Right now I am moving out from being a senior software engineer to a solution Architect and I truly needed this video to understand what I have signed up for.

Thank you for this video. Everybody is thinking I’m crazy for constantly changing the industries I work in, and taking pay cuts when switching between roles, but I just want to have a unique set of skills that nobody does. Plus it’s also fun and more meaningful to me to understand all the technology stacks

Perfectly explained both the roles. Eventually have the similar profile started from Sensor calibration to MES. Will definitely consider joining your channel. Excellent videos, I am going to watch each one starting today.

Yes a solutions architects seem to intuitively understand the implications behind the big picture. They even understand who the photographer is behind the big picture and what lens they used.
