I know this video is a couple years old, but you said post if we have any questions and, well, I have one. My 1/10 buggy has a 65T aluminium Spur gear upgraded from a 65T plastic gear. Apparently a small rock got into the mesh and bent over the teeth on my brass pinion which in turn chewed up the plastic spur gear. The car is a VRX 1017RH on 2S. I know it's not the best brand, but I'm just getting into the hobby and wanted something a bit more cost effective until I learn driving techniques and gain some decent knowledge about RC'ing in general. Gearing is one of those areas where I'd like to have a better understanding. Your video is very informative by the way. Since my car is a Chinese built brand I would assume that my gears are of the metric style. As I understand, 65T means that my spur has 65 teeth. The pinion that came on the car was a 23T but I have no idea what the pitch is or how to find out. I've scoured the web and looked at just about every site that sells the replacement pinion and none of them indicate the pitch. On ebay, I have found 23T 48P and 23T 0.6 Mod but have no idea which one I would need for my particular spur gear to have a proper mesh. I've also found the 0.6 Mod in other various "T's" like 20T, 21T, 25T, etc. My apologies for the long winded post, but is there any chance you could shed some light for me on this? I was hoping you would mention 65T spur in your video, but alas, you did not. Thanks in advance.

For those that may think i am reading from a computer. Actually I brought up a post from FB and a guide to keep myself on track cause doing videos with this much detailed information I wanted the exact information so I did not spread bad information. like what exact pitch mod .8 or mod 1.0 is. I'll even do a video of how it was done.

Hey dude
Watch all your videos, very informative, lots of great info.
I recently got the Kershaw kit for my X MAXX 2028 castle motor, currently running a 29/50 spur and pinion setup, I saw your video on your upgrade with the Kershaw kit, any suggestions on pinion/spur size, now that you've had it for a while ?

Keep the videos coming.

Thanks for the video, cleared up a lot of unknowns for me.
I don't know what the heck is wrong with Kershaw, they don't answer emails or phone calls. I'd like a status on my order. I ordered a motor and some other stuff 2 weeks ago and still no shipping info or other status info.
