Woody Johnson was our man in London (i.e. Ambassador of the U.S. to The Court of St. James (the United Kingdom)) -- not to Ireland. The late Dan Rooney was our man in Dublin (i.e. U.S. Ambassador to Ireland).

Owners can kind of be fired. Enough fans need to boycott games until the owner sets up the team in a blind trust that he has no control over or sells the team. Never happens as to why Johnson and McCaskey still own their respective NFL teams that are the equivalent of a restaurants selling rotten fish on moldy bread and calling it fine cuisine.

Every time I think about my favorite team's ownership, two things come to mind. 1. I feel VERY bad about what happened to Kim Pegula and 2. I thank god that we have Terry Pegula as our owner. It really does start at the top! And apropos of "Ambassador" Johnson... a distant third thing comes to mind. That being that when Ralph Wilson died, Donald Trump was one of the people vying to purchase my beloved Bills. We sure dodged a bullet there!
