Wow. What a terrific tutorial! Don't apologize for its being lengthy - you packed hours' worth of info into about 30 minutes. I recently got the Maker, after having used the Expression for many years - but never with Design Space. Now I feel more confident to go into DS and make some things. This is ridiculous, but I could almost cry, I'm so happy I found you! I have been struggling with things like 'slice' and 'flatten', even the print, cut, draw functions, but--like everyone else here says-- you explained it SO clearly and simply! What a gifted teacher you are! I have watched so many tutorials, been irritated with so many vloggers, but now it's just you! You didn't waste one second of my time and you didn't irritate me at all! (hahaha!)

Thank you!!! I was the kid in Algebra who the teacher asked if "you got this?" Meaning, she could move on with her lesson now that the "uh, slow kid" got it. I have taken (spent real $$) classes at Joann's, watched Lori and Mel Lane, but spent hours wasting paper, and honest tears with this explore and just hated the thing. Thanks for your clear and informative video. I bought a Cricut 5 years ago and got frustrated and put it on the shelf forever. Recently decided to get the Cricut Air 2 and give it a try.
