Now that we finally have the Dendro element (and realize just how absurdly broken it is) I wanted to make a video detailing the five strongest team/party formations in Genshin Impact as of Version 3!

Big shoutouts to Keqing Mains (and Zajef, is he part of KQM? idr) for helping me make this video!

To your question of why Childe national is called "International", it's because every member of this team comes from different nation, Childe - Snezanaya, Kazuha- Inazuma, Xangling - Liyue and Bennett - Mondstadt.

Zajef is too good at creating names, can't wait for Hot Pocket teams dominating the meta

A large part of why freeze is such a strong reaction is that Ayaka and Ganyu synergise really well with it. Ayaka's burst does insane amounts of damage, but requires opponents to stay in place to continuously hit them, and the best way to achieve this in most situations is the freeze reaction. As for Ganyu, her burst does way more damage when enemies are tightly grouped up together, and freeze helps with this by making it easier for your anemo units to group enemies.

Another reason is the Blizzard Strayer artifact set, which gives its holder 40% more crit rate against frozen enemies (or 20% if they're not frozen but are applied with cryo). In combination with cryo resonance giving you 15% crit rate against enemies applied with cryo, you have 55% extra crit rate, which is a huge damage increase, especially since it allows you to focus your build on doing really large crit damage.

Don't get me wrong, not needing to worry about enemy attacks is also really nice and comfortable, but the above reasons are why it's so strong in Spiral Abyss.

That said, this was still a great video that did a really good job explaining the teams, and had very strong choices for the top 5.

This video will either please a lot of people, piss off a lot of people, or both. But it's okay because Korea made top 16 at the World Cup :D

I think it would be interesting if physical or geo attacks had a reaction with frozen enemies, like “shatter” or something like that. It would give geo another option besides mono geo.

This is why hydro IS the best element, all these teams use at least 1 hydro unit

I've been experimenting with a team made of Amber, Collei, Rosaria, and Kokomi. The idea is you toss Baron Bunny, hit things with Dendro, Cryo, then lots of Hydro to make Dendro cores until the bunny explodes, inflicting Burgeon, Melt, and Burning all at once. Since it's a variant of Fridge, I was calling it Freezer Burn. It's not amazing, but it's funny to make Baron Bunny into a real nuke that can do upwards of 130k with high EM.

Great video! Just wanted to mention there is a set rotation for the sukokomon team and it’s really long but, I believe it allows electro charged, overloaded and vape to happen all at once for a sort of burst of damage. It’s really satisfying once you get it down!

Regarding the physical units and physical damage as a whole. Honkai has a thing called "Bleed Trauma" which is basically physical damage over time for a certain duration. I think adding a similar mechanic to Genshin will expand on physical damage a lot because basically everyone in Genshin except catalyst users deal physical damage.

I was watching a streamer playing EM Razor, Xingqiu, C6 Bennet and Dendro Traveler and it looked pretty fun, because a lot of reactions were happening! I called that comp "Rainbow Razor" (because there were a LOT of colorful numbers) and the streamer liked the name xD

A little bit of trivia: You're correct! The first popular variation of "soup" was Sucrose, Fischl, Xiangling, and Kokomi, and at the time was called "Sukokomon". Its most likely a portmanteau of Sucrose, Kokomi, and Pokemon (Pokemon because Sucrose is your on-field "trainer" whose Pokemon are the creatures your party summons lmao)

I believe it originated from CN players and 1010 then popularized it (at least thats who I heard it from first). As far as soup teams go, IIRC, Sukokomon has a very specific rotation that is centered around Guoba's fire-breathing intervals (because for some reason Guoba has a Pyro aura whenever he shoots fire). Just to expand on that lmao

Given that khanriah is devoid of elements. I guess physical was play a role later down the story when we have all the elements to play with and physical being devoid has the least chance of getting broken by any archon

I run a team of Heizou, Shinobu and Xingqiu, and call it Avatar Heizou because he does martial arts and can infuse his martial arts attacks with whichever element of Shinobu/Xinqiu's skills are active. Qiqi or Kaeya can sub in for Cryo, Thoma or Xiangling for Pyro, and there are probasbly others that I'm forgetting. I run Kazuha with it because I like his movement options for when I'm just running around.

Nilou’s bountiful bloom team with Nahida, Yelan and Kokomi is so underrated. I clear floor 12 Abyss in less than 10/15 seconds with them. They get blasted by the cores so fast. Ayaka’s freeze team is my second fave team to play❄️

The main idea of taser is to use any character's Normal attacks to proc beidou, fischl, xingqiu and yelan damage (you can pick 3 of them but remember beidou needs battery). You can swap sucrose for zhongli, qiqi, kokomi, heizou, keqing, probably scaramouche too, and actually any character can do the job but of course there are better options than others.

you can't swap any of sukokomon team. Sucrose and XL are unswapable because sucrose is the only anemo that can guoba swirl, kokomi is perfect here since you need hydro application every 2 seconds due to guoba, and fischl because shes the better electro applicator OFF FIELD

I'm probably wrong but fireworks being named that is because of the amount of sheer numbers displayed on screen and riptide explosions happening alongside beidou bouncing off every enemy on contact.
