Michael and Michael, I found this extremely fascinating! Thanks so much to both of you for taking the time to do this. Just one of the many things I learned from this was extending the line with more speakers to minimize the variance from the front to the back of the arena. Looking forward to viewing the rest of the series.

Great video - thanks guys. I particularly liked the discussion of front fill design options and the complimentary downfill elements that were added.

This is an awesome video. a master class. Thank you for sharing this info.

Directivity and coverage uniformity really is the key to a successful show....that's what I've taken from the first predictions can only be done during preproduction...Unfortunately for my part of the world the clients consider the cost more than the experience...

I like the idea of giving audience a choice that they wouldn’t be able to have, if we designed a venue without variance.

Thank you Michael. LMBC became clearer.

Low variance and sounding good @ FOH is not enough. 🤯

I love the design part because it cuts down on compromises later.

Great video, thanks!, so what would be the best way to have more control, a system processor with lot of outputs or dsp processing on individual boxes?, didn't know that an electronic version of Michael's book was available, got the printed version already ...

Thanks. Clearing up that thinking of the line arrays lows as part of the sub source was a good one and something I've been pondering on how to deal with. Do I low cut the mains and lose valuable SPL throw or do I integrate it and get the phase as aligned as possible? Now I know.

Steering the low frequencies of the line array was an interesting one. Sounded a bit complicated though - I get it that brand specific pre-designed algorithmic processing do this, but if you're standing with an older system and analog amps that are being fed from a non-enclosure/brand specific DSP, is it still possible to achieve this by your own without being some kind of math/physics genius?
