My boss taught me a very valuable lesson about 15 years ago. He said the two most important jobs in his opinion are the system tech and monitor engineer and went on to say that system tech wins in his opinion. We all love being out front but these are two very key positions make any show no matter how big or small successful. Thank you for the valuable information and I always look forward to your videos.

A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO YOU BOTH!!!! I really appreciate you guys making the time to do this series. Absolutely fascinating and well done. I think for me the biggest eye opener was rolling off the bottom frequency area of the side fills and see how that lower region of the frequency spectrum gets filled in when you add back the mains and subs.

Lesson learnt..doing a good work on Part 1 & 2, part 3 is verification of how efficient your design is... And not using "Smaart" to solve what Part 1 & 2 could have solved.... Amazing Series Michael and Michael....

Thank you for this video series. Very insightful and informative. Do you happen to know what make and model of wireless units Michael is using with his reference mics?

My aha moment was using multiple processors to feed into each other, rather than one processor into amps. (Admittedly, the system was Meyer, so maybe there's not processing onboard the powered speakers themselves?) From Part 2 of 3

This is such great information, but kinda useless for my gig because it’s never a PA. The production prioritize getting the gear in the air, not deploying it correctly. They just throw it up and hope for the best.

Thank you Michael,
Want to know how the congregation or audience can change the room acoustic and which frequency ranges do they effect.
Thank you
