Fox 40 Electronic whistle Review - Sound graphs - In a stadium

The Fox 40 Electronic whistle is a good product for managers, coaches, teachers or kids matches. I find it to be way too quiet for a real match though.

For a referee who refs at competitive level, this is not suitable. If you ref at lower level, want this whistle for multiple users or are a coach, teacher etc then this is a great choice. The whistle is

Nice ! Since the pandemic started, our train conductors here in Belgium got these Fox 40 E-Whistles set on the 2nd tone heard in this video

Thanks for the review. I'm a volleyball official and was curious about this whistle. There is talk that there is a possibility that officials may be required to wear masks or some kind of face covering . I think this might be a way we could still work while officiating a match. Nothing is for sure yet, but I would like to be ahead of the game.

Lately they have changed the dB sound level of this electronic whistle on official Fox 40 webpage: now they claim 100 dB, not 125.

I am an amateur mini-soccer referee, the sound is recommended for this type of game, the field measures 50m x 100m

What about the rechargeable Fox 40 that claims 120 db? Any insight if it would be suitable for full size soccer field?

Good stuff, but it would be nice if a regular Fox40 was used as well for comparison. I can't see myself getting an electronic whistle, but it would be interesting to hear.

I just got this think whistle sound busted after a week of use on a PLAYGROUND.

20 bucks pos would not buy again.
