I think what makes HUNK such an admirable unit of a character, is that, he doesn't collect items or restock on ammo, he uses what's on him and only that. He's essentially a test on the player on whether or not they're worthy of even surviving through the hell he's been through.

It's quite interesting how it took only 8 lines of dialogue to turn Hunk into a #1 most badass character in RE universe. All those tyrans and edgelords have nothing on Hunk when he's moving to his extraction point.

neat how hunk's sociopathic disregard for life even extends to *himself*. his "survival is your responsibility" line cuts both ways; he won't bother saving anyone if he has a mission to accomplish, but he doesn't expect anyone to save him either.
