Al Jazeera broadcasts Israeli closure of West Bank bureau live on air

Israeli forces raided the Al Jazeera bureau in the West Bank on Sunday and issued a 45-day closure order, the Qatari broadcaster said.

Footage showed heavily armed and masked troops entering the premises in Ramallah. The move is the latest Israeli action against Al Jazeera. The government announced last week that it was revoking the press credentials of Al Jazeera journalists in Israel, four months after banning the channel from operating in the country
