IGCSE BIOLOGY REVISION [Syllabus 14] - Tropic Responses

Hey guys! Today we take a look a tropic responses. The concept can be intimating initially but it's actually quite straight forward. Please make sure you drill these concepts into your brain ASAP:
1. Auxins will move away from the sunlight , but move towards gravity
2. Auxins will INCREASE growth in a shoot but DECREASE growth in a root
3. Uneven distribution of auxins will cause uneven growth, leading to roots or shoots bending towards or away from a stimuli
4. Positive tropism is when the plant bends TOWARDS the stimuli
5. Negative tropism is when the plant bends AWAY from the stimuli

Hey! Not sure if you respond to comments on old videos but, could you please explain what is meant by “Explain phototropism and gravitropism of a shoot as examples of the chemical control of plant growth”?
