Recently, Twitter has become a cesspool filled with AI-generated tweets, stolen uploads, degenerate promotions in the comments, and more.

The thing I hate about Twitter the most is that they give you notifications from people you never even seen before and that you're not following.

I do miss internet before mass social media:
- Youtube wasn't TV 2.0.
- Artists didn't have to apologize for their creations
- People doing the most deranged, ridiculous and absurd bs for clout weren't that often

"Birds born in a cage think flying is an illness" Absolutely perfectly landed quote, it is the bird app in a nutshell.

The Dead Internet Theory is actually optimistic if you think about it. Think of the most braindead takes you ever heard that got taken to about 10, 000 likes and remember how your faith in humanity sunk low. Now if you remember that the internet is mostly bots, it not only tells us that not everyone believes that pink sauce is good for you, but that people are so desperate to make their braindead takes a thing they gotta resort to bots.

The internet has been in a downward spiral ever since Club Penguin shut down.

"sOrRy, bUt I cAn'T gEnErEtE a rEsPoNcE bAsEd oN tHe pRoMt gIvEn" is somehow the funniest comment of the month.

I love how absolutely no one calls it “X”

The sooner humanity abandons social media, the better. Its just toxicity and stupidity elevated to the utmost.

I'm sorry, but I can't generate a comment to this video.

What I hate about twitter is that whenever you go to the comments to see what people said you have to actually spend time to see anyone actually talking about the post.

I have always considered Twatter to be a cesspool and nothing more. The only good thing about it is that it keeps all the weirdos on that platform. Hopefully Twatter will never die because if it does all those people will leak into other spaces where I do not want them.

The gore and shock clips are honestly the worst man. All I seem to see now is someone dying the moment I open X, Instagram, or whatever. You can even see by the comments that people seemingly dislike this type of content, but since there’s so little regulation it still shows up even AFTER you say you don’t wanna see it.

I'm sure the dead internet theory was far fetched when it came out, but it has especially become scarily plausible in the last few years

Letting Twitter blue users have priority in the replies is a horrible feature too like most of them are so copy and paste

Every popular ''x'' post reply section is filled with only fans adverts and verified accounts spamming nonsensical videos

I actually thought this theory was 100% true from the moment I heard it. I know so many people who spend almost no time on the Internet. And I think back through my life and how many old blog accounts and other random accounts and websites I have created, stopped using, or outright forgot I made. And then I multiply this by all the people on the planet and the "internet of nothing, " or the "dead internet" really is the only thing that is possible. How could it be that 80% of the space on servers and computer hard drives are now filled with useless, dead information. That's not good.

Honestly I like to say we live in the dark ages of the internet in a way because back in the old internet times it was a wild west it wasn't perfect but it was pretty good people felt more genuine and everything had a personal touch to it and it just felt special in a way even Charming but sadly I don't think we'll get that version of the internet back anytime soon but who knows things can change

This is even happening on Instagram. Its worse when recently, Instagram literally prevents me to comment on anything due to "spam", yet I see bots and people dropping nwords. Its funny but when its under every post and I get reported for actually engaging, its crazy. I think we are gonna be seeing the end of the mainstream social medias, alternative medias will proply win after all this. Cause even if they make loads of money, people just not enjoy their platforms anymore.

It’s either an ai response, some Indian dude commenting 6 times separately, or a gimmick bot account that responds to every popular post.
