Funny, because a decade ago, my dog alerted us to a gas leak. We fixed it in time and prevented a fire hazard. He was rewarded with a special bone-shaped pancake 🥞.

Yeah, same thing happened to me. I swear to god, Spock was the reason we had TAPE on the stove dials and Bliss was the reason we had the front door to our apartment on a BUNGIE.

If I remember right, most up-to-date gas stoves have a safety mechanism built in where it’ll prevent the bad gas from leaking out if left on. There’s usually a funky odor mixed in with the bad gas that’s supposed to alert you to an existing gas leak.

If the odor isn’t present, you’re probably fine. But what do I know 🤷🏻‍♂️
