Since my very beginning of working with point clouds in Archicad I've been struggling with clouds getting misaligned at import, so one would import at correct location and the others would be thrown centimerets or meters away from its expected location.
We pre-process our point clouds from Leica scanners in Cloud Compare and export E57 files for Archicad.
I've had this problem for many months and I'm sick with aligning clouds by hand.
If anyone has had this issue as well and knows the solution, please let me know.

This works well. Be sure that any xyz data is tab delimited, not comma delimited or the import won't work.

Thank you very much for the video. I have a point cloud (.e57) of a Georgian fanlight that I want to model in ArchiCAD and I need the point cloud to be horizontally placed so I could draw over it in 2D. Can I do that directly in ArchiCAD without importing a point cloud back to the manipulation software, change its origin and then export it again?
