I love my Engine Pro, I have adapted it for Metal detecting.
Impressed with the off-road capabilities although I crashed it twice while filming last week.

I’ve had mine 2 years and covered best part of a thousand miles on it with my Terrier in her carry box on the rack. I’ve pumped ( gunk) tyre sealer into the inner tubes.and fitted rubber extensions to both mudguards.if the thumb throttle not fitted I think the bike is legal..I’ve been using mine on and off road ..highly recommended.

great review mate, thanks a lot. Can you do a compare between pro 1.0 and ori 2.0? They differ in torque and driving methods so quite a lot of differences.

It's a great performing bike commuted 1800km so far, but there is a known issue of melting the battery contacts

Since this is a recent review - have they fixed the dangerous rear mudguard fixing or is it still the old version which is at risk of breaking and getting trapped under the rear wheel causing a crash?

Newbie here. With this bike, if the battery goes completely flat, is this bike easy enough to ride to get you about? (with just the gears - no assist)

Hello. I see that you know Engwe electric bicycles well. I want to buy one, but I have no way to try them. That's why I would appreciate it if you could advise me on a model. I tell you my needs. I am 70 years old and I am 5'5". I weigh 70 kg. I want it to walk, mainly on steep mountain trails. I don't need speed, but I do need it to be able to climb steep trails without having to pedal.

That key underneath is not convenient. Why you didn’t use your phone’s gps to see if the speed was accurate? Most of these E-bikes are off in testing. I can’t remember if you said how much you weight. That will effect speed

you totally forgot about an important feature most done have ...engine re gen system its even on the side of the bike ! it charges the battery ! such an important feature

Can someone help me unlock pro 2.0, my top speed is 16 mph atm, I've tried different ways to unlock it but it seem to be impossible.
