Love the front end with the two headlights and love the idea of the dual battery idea. Ive got the Himiway Cruiser and have kept it locked on the pedal assist and the throttle is a walk assist at 4mph. Two years later bikes like this come out and rather than having to carry a spare battery in a rucksack, this idea tops it all. It's not a speed thing in my case, it's distance and getting up some very steep hills around me. This looks like it can handle a bit more than mine. The green is more suited to my bushcraft hobby. Looks like a good buy tbh. Another great video, thanks for sharing 👍

Sweet I didn't realize Leigh on Sea had a sandy beach. Bike looks sweet but I think the 2nd battery is a bit too close to your nuts in case of a fire.

i got one last year after a few mods shock seat brakes and plastic mudguards the thin tin ones drove me nuts .. once all that was done and a much taller motorbike style seat was fitted it raised the front by 5" no longer sliding down and hitting your bits n bobs.. it is now very comfortable and a joy to ride.

A few weeks back I met my old school friends for the first time in a while (we’re 54/55) and we went for a cycle. As 2 of us have bad knees, and one survived a heart attack, it was a ride on a cycle track on an old disused railway route. I was talking to my friend about E-bikes, and, as we were chatting I asked him our current speed. We were going up hill, on a track with very smooth incline ( it’s not always apparent you’re travelling up hill until you stop peddling and then you grind to a stop ) and we were doing 9mph. We were chatting, and although not gasping for air, as average guys in their mid 50’s, we weren’t completely unaffected by the incline.
It dawned on me, an e-bike would allow us to almost double our speed, with zero impact on our physical exertion. The 15.5mph is much maligned, but it’s actually a reasonable pace. At my fittest ( and I was exceptionally fit in my 20’s ) I once cycled to my girlfriends house 5 miles away, across a B road which went mostly flat or slightly uphill, with a fair incline towards the end. I remember checking my average speed afterwards, and it was 17mph. I was on a mountain bike, and I pushed hard. All that got me was 1.5mph faster than an average person could do that route on an e-bike today.
Personally, I think 30mph on an e-bike should be the norm, it would stop you being an issue to car drivers desperate to overtake you, but 15mph is a good average, especially on a designated cycle lane.
I’m looking into getting this bike, I like your reviews 👍

Battery's look like an afterthought .

Buy a no battery version, slap a 3kw motor, fardriver 7280, get a proper 72v battery and you're set.

I bought a similar looking bike, the ridstar q20 for £900 on ebay. Its a great bike on flat road, but I dont trust it on long or steep hills. I've got a spare 72v battery and 100amp controller ready for installation, but I need to get a hub motor that can handle that power before I dare to alter anything. Its a great bike to upgrade, if you're into tinkering with ebikes.

90 miles range from a 48v13ah - not a chance, I'm getting 50 miles from a 52v20ah (probably 60 if I used a lot of low level assist and was very gentle when using throttle)..

40 miles tops I'd say, and like you said it'd have to be doing a tonne of peddling with zero hills and the lowest level of assist.

Proper annoys me does the silly mileage claims these manufacturers reckon their e-bikes can do..

I always take at least a 1/3rd off whatever they say it can do, as this is the more realistic mileage.

£1, 100 with dual battery ain't bad at all, that's very reasonable.. I'm not sure what I think about the front dual lights?!? But for 1100 it's not bad at all, looks like a funky little E-bike.
Glasses match the bike too 👍⚡
Another great review, cheers!

All these bikes look great Steve but when they go wrong in my experience there doesn't seem to be anyone able to fix them. My Kirby hub motor for example....

in the inner city those fat tires catch flat all the time so much that the back will detach on most.

Looks good mate. It’s good that it comes with 2 battery’s. Are they parallel? Or can use some separately individually. Good commuter bike that.
