“Ashes of Eden” is one of Breaking Benjamin’s 2015 album Dark Before Dawn, the song holds a deep emotional feeling, as of it being one of the calmest songs the band has produced.

The song talks about Ben’s spirituality. He is having doubts about whether he will go to heaven or if God even wants him and is there for him. He believes he doesn’t deserve redemption so how could God save him? On top of this he can’t hear or feel God being with him; he begins to wonder what each path be like (being taken to hell or heaven). In the end, he cries out to God, asking for help until he is finally saved.
