Katy Perry and Lorde are set to take the Grammy stage!
Get excited -- both Katy and Lorde have just been announced as performers at the 2014 Grammy Awards.
Both ladies had amazing years -- not to mention they both released new albums, so this actually makes perfect sense.
Other performers that we can expect to see take stage include: Metallica, Pink -- alongside Fun's Nate Ruess, Kendrick Lamar WITH Imagine Dragons, and -- get this -- Pharrell will be performing with Nile Rodgers, Stevie Wonder and Daft Punk. Robin Thicke will also be taking the stage with Chicago.
So -- obviously -- we love to see the collaborations that our favorite artists prepare...
I remember back in 2009 when Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus played their duet of Fifteen.... I also loved when Eminem and Elton John took the stage together. Oh -- and, Beyonce and Prince were pretty amazing during their performance in 2004.
So, I have to know... do you think there is a chance that Lorde and Katy could team-up during the big night?
And, are there any artists that haven't been announced as a performer yet -- that you think SHOULD be? Maybe even Taylor or Miley... what about Eminem, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake or Jay-Z?

when miley did the twerk thing she said I wasn't a big deal because it's just the MTV awards .. if she did her dance moves on garmmy's .. well you can imagine the fuss

Lol. . .no. Katy is just gonna be dancing around the stage like a crazy person and Lorde will stand there being "still sane" (get it?) and I actually don't mind lorde's dancing I think it's unique. But Lorde isn't "for" Katy's style of music so it wouldn't make sense for her to perform with her. What would they sing anyway?! They both sing very different styles of music and have different personalities and stage presences. I prefer Lorde way more because she doesn't have to use sex appeal to sell herself and I like her lyrics and just everything about her style of music. Her songs have like a hypnotic quality about them, while Katy's music and mainstream pop is just a waste of time. So there.
