Dang, didnt realize how op those wood tiles are. I dont mine the buffing of the hot tub, souna, and all of those food, because all of those reqire enough set-up that by the time you have them, you are over-powered anyway, but those wood tiles are compairable to some end game building tiles

Building the hot tub or a sauna completely removes the main challenge of the dlc lmao

Does pepper bread also give the spicy food frost resistance buff?

Now I honestly hope they go back and update everything next. Bring all the dlc into balance and fix any old bugs. Speed up some recreational items use time or add light bonuses. Showers, soda fountain etc.

Maybe add useful clothing and more decore items to the base game, fountains, pillar statues, the poi props)Ceramic tiles please, A tile thats not the best but does it all.

Thank you for the great video, and thank you for answering the question about the vacuum. I was also wondering if the tiles the duplicants are standing on affect their temperature while they are in a vacuum, but it's not as important cause I can insulate them. XD

i was worried that the snow i need to grow alveo vera was going to be a limited resource only renewable from space mining. im glad they added snow to the ice maker recipe

It's too bad the wood tile just became a puff of carbon dioxide when the magma heated it past its melting point. It would have been neat if the wood tile became a chunk of coal and a small amount of carbon dioxide

240 watts for the ice maker? while maintaining only 60 kg of snow? this is quite brutal since the trees require 100, and each ice maker takes a while to produce snow and ice.

I look forward to seeing you enjoy the new DLC! So far, I've been having a great time with it, even as things update and change. In fact, I just passed 500 cycles with my current colony.

Spigot seals I'm trying to evolve through very low temperature. I'd normally just stick them in the industrial brick, but then the tallow would turn into oil.

What I'm most vexxed about is the bonbon tree autoplanting mechanic. I see them do it, I haven't been able to work out what the rules are or how to control it. I've got snow and ice meteors. I tried using pips but I need temperature control first to get it above -30; death came to pipland after planting only one.

regarding vacuum and the new game mechanics, there appears to (still) be an issue when a dupe is standing in liquid in the bottom tile and vacuum in the top tile. Definitely a longer running bug too, though before the DLC it was only a minor stress debuff, not a -5 to athlethics penalty or frostbite damage with associated danger notification.

[edit]
From todays patch notes
"Fixed a bug where critters larger than 1x1 were freezing to death if at least one of their occupied cells was a vacuum, and at least one other wasn't."
...now lets find out if that fix also applies to dupes. >.>

I'll now finally be able to make an infinite food storage freezer using snow tiles instead of regular insulated tiles and make it look like an actual freezer.
Although they'll eventually melt unless cooled, which is worse than just using the regular insulated tiles... ... ...

I see most content is really early game, with so much stuff to survive the first 100 cycles in the cold.
It feels a bit small, but we're comparing it with the massive upgrade that is SpacedOut (radiation, planetoids, late game rocket modules, etc)

I have had a horrible time getting bonbon to exchange temp post update. No idea why but aquatuner loop and STILL not dropping temp meaningfully

Which one of the new critters is your favorite? Personally, I adore the Bammoth

Humans in a vacuum, would explode. Because all the water and oil in our body turns into gas, when we enter a vacuum.
