In a pinch you can simply canister the CO2. Research the canister filler for ventilation and just empty it for a cycle or two.

You'll stack up tons of gas in one tiny movable container.

Yes, please. There's so little narrative content for this game. I understand, though. It's pretty easy to get an ONI run where you back yourself into an inescapable resource bottleneck. Heck, you almost zeroed out on power just in this video. "My Duplicants slowly died over the course of 100 days" does not make for a compelling thumbnail.
