This laptop would be perfect for business travel. I can picture having virtual meetings on one screen and the documents on the other.

I have the zenbook duo half screen and it's perfect for me. Not sure how often I personally would need two full screen displays but for content creators and business folk who often multi-task, I can see this as essential. Awesome

This is PERFECT for trading. MT5 and Tradingview on either screen.

The best review till now of this laptop. Thanks Matt. Very tempting. I am always using multi monitor setups. I am with the LG Gram 16 and the LG portable monitor for light work, I use 3 portable monitors in total when travelling and I am too used to the 16inch screens now. Still looks an amazing product.

I have the Yoga book 9i. Definitely jealous of the ease of setup. Though I also feel it kind of sucks it only folds flat and not 360 for tent mode or tablet mode.

OMGOMGOMG 🤩 Asus has now come up with their answer to the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i 😁👍, I am soooo looking forward to this Matt 😍. I'm a Project Manager and God knows there aren't enough screens in front of us to help us manage meetings, chats and deliverables😅, so a dual screen laptop is a God-send spesh when we have to be onsite / in transit. Thanks for linking us the Asus site, I'm pouring over the Tech Specs now.
btw, can you give us your initial feedback on this dual screen Asus versus the Lenovo version? I'm keen on your perspective spesh you now handled both and I'd like to hear your pros/ cons in both (even if just an overview since the Asus version is still pre-Prod)

As someone with a Duo 14, I was almost jealous of the two full screens, until I saw it just has iGPU.

this would basically mirror my desktop setup with 2 stacked displays on the go. I have a mobile 15" external display, but for years I was single-screen guy, as I could never find it in me to have screens side by side, it was distracting, uncomfortable. If I don't have to lug around additional stand to prop up the external display on top of the laptop, and have the same workflow when I am working from a hotel room or some random office, that would be worth to try this one, even though I and Asus don't seem to go along. So far every single Asus product failed me, 2 laptops and 1 monitor in the past 4-5 years, all went back under warranty within 2 to 6 months. That's also the reason why I didn't try the previous letterbox zen duo laptops, however tempting it was.

If they had a matte screen I'd buy right now

This is it this is my next daily driver. I was this close on getting the lenovo but couldn't get around the fact that the keyboard and stand needs to be stored separately. Asus really knocked it out of the park.

'Obviously' ... not as many as a Karl Conrad video, but getting there, obviously 😀

this concept would be better if it was a 2-in-1 360 degrees laptop

more power, better screen and better keyboard than yoga book 9i but I wish it has surface like hinge and kickstand (up to 170 degree)! price seems to be reasonable but it start with i5! Microsoft should follow this direction if they want to keep surface line really! I think you can use the sleeve as stand for keyboard too!

Dang, very tempting now as I had reservations with the previous reservation with the folio bit.

I'm really eyeing this thing because on paper it looks like incredible value in terms of specs and features for the price, but the latter also has me concerned for long-term battery life and heat management.

They have to come out wit a version like what they did with the Zephyrus produo!
1. It needs to me 15.6-17"... i know that it will be heavier
2. 1080pm is sufficient to the average consumer.
3. It needs dedicated graphics....
4. The top screen can be just as thin, just bigger

I indeed prefer Lenovo's approach except for the touchpad solution, which seems better here (although I'd probably carry a mouse).
