I have the 2019 G7 with the 2070maxQ it’s been a real solid performer. I’m playing most games connected to a 4K monitor and I can get at least 30fps with rtx on titles with dlss. This new machine doesn’t seem to offer much of a performance gain despite mine not having g a G key. Biggest gain I made was new thermal paste and a good under volt.

Just came across this for $1888 (aud) on eBay for pre black friday sales, really considering it. But not being able to do the optimus is a let down. But for the price here in aus it's literally the cheapest laptop with these specs I've ever seen aha. Hoping black friday sales here actually bring some better deals but I fear I'll loose out if I do go for it soon

I have this particular system but my game lags after a while ? I loose fps, i will have to press the G button continuously to regain fps. Whats causing this?
