I don't understand why this "snippet" of a show was put here. It's like being invited to someone's home for a meal but being pushed out the door after a few bites of salad.

Wasn't there a cargo ship owned by Chase that was seized with 20 tons of cocaine on it earlier this year?

Kind of ironic how you have Leslie Stahl who is worth $40 million asking if the rich are too rich...

The super rich got over a trillion dollar tax cut. And then the deficit exploded to a trillion dollars. 🧐 I wonder if those two things are somehow connected. 🤷‍♂️ It’s almost as if somebody had trouble doing simple math.

The oligarchy has grown arrogant and corrupt. It's time to hit reset on the whole system. Let's start with an Eisenhower Tax, putting the top marginal rate at 92%, which is where it was when the economy and middle class living standards were growing at their most rapid. We also need a wealth tax on the top 1%, and put the proceeds in individual investment accounts for every American.

Most of today's Billionaires got rich through globalization, which cut out and discarded the middle class. Resetting the trade imbalance with China, Mexico and the EU provides the incentive that is needed to bring manufacturing back to the USA. BUT that's only if we don't tax people's private parts off. The fact is the U.S. economy is humming, wages for the middle class have grown four times more than they did under Obama, unemployment is at its lowest point in recorded history, the Stock Market is at an all-time high, and China has experienced their worst year in over 50 years.

Yes. The answer is yes. How can he say what does that mean. Yes is the freaking answer. Executive pay, yes, should be curbed in America.

He should have asked her if she thought journalists were paid too much over the cameraman.

I think pay should be curbed for television news anchors.

What does that mean. Cutting back on executive pay. Lol. That's the problem with people who are in management

Garbage strategic editing. Talk about misleading. I thought the new was supposed to be fair and unbiased.

wow 32B in profits, even with a 50% tax on the biggest companies, they would still be making 16B and people are arguing they need a tax cut? Its not like they are spending the profits back into their company besides buybacks anyways.

Jaime Diamond. Is lost. Is blind. Is only self-referencing... “you can get some...just don’t touch mine or my privilege. I’m important. I’m the engine of the economy... without us super-wealthy, nothing gets made/done.” OMG. He’s sincere.

Is 60 minute going to cap the salaries of the on screen talent to some multiple of the camera crew members salary? Sounds good there's no reason Lesley Stahl should paid more than five or ten times the cameraman's salary.
