So good to see you and Occy thriving! A hint for cleaning a grimy wood stove window: dip a damp paper towel into some of the ash in the stove and rub over the grime. The abrasiveness of the ash loosens even the toughest grime but won’t hurt the glass. We clean our wood stove window every morning this way to keep it sparkling clear for fire-gazing. My husband and I watch these wonderful videos together as a lunchtime treat when we work from home. He wanted me to remind you to wear ear protection when using the drop-saw and to clamp both ends of the wood when you are cutting a piece. Safer and cleaner cut. ❤
