Early 1970s. I was a teen. Massive social disaster to get pregnant unmarried. My mother, and our family lost face in the community. An abortion was suggested. I refused. That little girl is now the mother of my only 2 grandchildren. Of 4 that i had, only she gave me grandsons.

And the way to do that, is not to be doing married people things before you’re married.

I have somewhat of a similar story, except my mother didn't give me to someone who wanted me. But abused me instead. My twin did not survive my mother's self abortion. I barely survived it myself...

People are smart enough to make their own decisions. Even if they make what they consider a mistake. Odd theory that regret by some means no one else should have their own right to choose. Flawed logic.
