Crikey, I've seen this twice already and might I say it is one of the best films I have had the pleasure to watch, my opinion, but this is exactly what relationships are missing these days

I'm so happy they made this movie, and this is coming from a guy who's top movies are "John Wick" and "The Equlizer", but this is my favorite movie. there are so many "romance" films out there with a lot of sexual content, but this film brings back the good ideals strong families used to live by. Just saw an interview with the author.  It was written before FSOG became popular.  He is just taking advantage of the timing of the release of FSOG.  He is marketing it that way but it was not written FSOG in mind.

About the song...  you can search for the soundtrack, "Old Fashioned" on iTunes.  Though, at time of this writing, Feb 8, 2015, it is only available for pre-order, and only one of the songs from it can be heard as a sample.  Not being able to hear all the songs, it is hard to tell which one might be playing in this trailer.

Young philosopher refuses to pass the basketball to his friend. He is mildly attractive. The woman he is destined to be with is actually attractive. She doesn't understand his reservations. They enjoy each others company, there is some strife, and they kiss. She breaks down his wall. end of movie

It seems like these people are taking a petty shot at 50 Shades of Grey. The concept of going head-to-head with such a scandalous book is nice, but instead of taking low blows at the movie they are competing with, they should let the film speak for itself.

Old Fashion?  How did a movie about handy jays only get a PG-13 rating?  The filth that the MPAA lets slide these days!

You know, I've figured out a way to crystalize why this movie is so terrible, and why it makes Christians look like monsters - Clay is the exact same person both as a frat boy and later in his life. At all periods in his life, he is trying to force women to conform to his views and his views alone of how a woman should act and live, the only difference is that he switches from forcing women to act as sexual objects, to forcing a woman to act like a submissive maternal figure with no will of her own. So the only thing being a "good christian" changed about Clay was he swapped out what type of degradation he heaped upon women.
