Thanks for another great interview on an under covered topic! And thanks Cathy for making a challenging topic clear and understandable. I was diagnosed with Low Grade and am still trying to figure out the difference in results between 23&Me testing and the genetic testing I had done through my cancer center. The test through the cancer center showed no inherited mutations, but the 23&Me testing showed three different mutations all related to Lynch Syndrome and ovarian cancer. Also, my Grandmother passed of colon cancer which as Cathy mentioned is also related to OC and Lynch. So, given my family history and my own diagnosis, it seems very strange to me that the high end test showed no genetic link but that the 23&Me did. That part still confuses me so hoping to see a genetic counselor to explain the variation in test results.

I have a hereditary germ line mutation (BRIP1) Would you recommend I get a test for Somatic mutations as well? If so, which provider would you recommend? Stage C III, currently taking Zejula PARP inhibitor.
