Alright, by now you all already know that I am struggling with learning Norwegian language. I know, it is my fault, I am also quite lazy as I don't seem to find time for it BUT I do find excuses, LOL! 😂Anyways, this funny short about my Norwegian life and moving to Norway is looking at one specific thing in learning this language - THE LETTERS! Yeah, I know all of you learning the language from zero are or had to struggle with figuring out how to pronounce them! If you didn't you're a genius (at least, in my eyes).

As a norwegian I have a simple rule for you; Æ = The a in lack, ø = the u in luck and å = the o in lock
You *lack* the *luck* to pick the *lock*

If people can't get Æ Å Ø right
Here are some tips
Æ=
1. it's like saying a and e at the same time
2. it's like a screaming but short
Ø= it's like saying Æ but more ooo
Å= it's like saying AHOOO

Yet English and Norwegian are closely related languages being western Germanic, and Old English was similar to Old Norse before they changed it.

The letters look fancy, but the actual sounds they make pretty much all exist in English. Just takes a little practice!

Det er egentelig ikke så vanskelig, men det er jo enklare for folk i Norge å lære engelsk😉

Æ is the a in bar. Å is the oa sound in board. And the ø sound is the ir sound in bird but stick your lips a little farther out and say you will actually hear it as a mix of saying oh and ir
