We actually did go straight from the airport. We had a fairly short flight from Baltimore and got in quite early getting to the Blue Lagoon near opening time. There was a plus, it was not crowded for most of the time we were there as we were leaving there were long lines coming in. Checking luggage and getting on the right bus back to Reykjavik were a bit of a hassle though. Detours due to the volcanic activity did give everyone some nap time though Not many private showers in the men's locker room as info, wasn't a big deal. The whole facility is top notch. As info, flybus is not a well oil machined nothing is ever quite on time but usually gets the job done at some point.

Do you get to bring your swimsuit to the shower so you can put it on immediately after showering?
