Btw. Polyester and other sythetics are giving off microfibers during each wash and our waterplants can’t filter them out (yet) so I avoid them and if I have sports or swim wear I wash them in a guppy bag.

Love your channel! ❤ Dandelions are edible, called pis en lit in France! Diuretic, makes a great spring salad with young leaves and cleans your liver for a yearly restart 🙂

Billie and Blosson were sold at Dorothy Perkins. Thanks for highlighting lots of ethical brands I hadn't heard of 💚

I‘m vegan too and wear wool. I got a beautiful sweater at a clothes swap party made of irish wool and it is great because it is like aircondition for the body. It regulates heat and cold so well!
I also wear leather boots because I walk a lot (some days I have 18km on my fitness tracker) and leather boots are just so long lasting! I have one brown pair of boots that are going into their 8th season now! And they will still be here for years (plus I can take them to cobbler to get new soles if necessary) while plastic shoes don‘t make it through the year and my feet get sweaty and cold in them. So I‘m totally with you here!

I love seeing people's wardrobes. I sometimes wish I had a minimal wardrobe but I do love all of my clothes and wear them all. Many of them have sentimental memories attached to them. I don't do fast fashion. Some of my things I've had for longer than ten years. For outdoor wear, I occasionally order something from L.L. Bean. I've never been dissatisfied with anything I've gotten from them.

Just found you and enjoying your videos. Being vegan and a knitter I have struggled with wool. My friends have rescue sheep so I have some fleece and just purchased a spinning wheel so learning how to process the fleece and turn into wool. Wish me luck x I like Thought Clothing and they have a good sale.

As a vegan and an environmentally minded person, I've had the same struggle with wool and come to a similar conclusion, because there really is no cold-weather synthetic alternative to wool that is as effective, and certainly none that do not release microplastics. What I have decided is that I will thrift ready-to-wear wool and knit with wool from a supplier whose source has high welfare standards. Where I'm from practices like mulesing are banned which doesn't mean it's perfect, but certainly better than mass-produced fast-fashion wool. I so appreciate your honesty and totally recognise and understand the reasoning behind your clothing decisions.

I love your wardrobe! I live in a tiny bus, so I have a small wardrobe, too. I buy second hand and sustainable wool, so you’re not alone 🥰🥰🥰

Thanks for sharing all this! Jeans are a real dilemma! So many are bad quality, even sustainable brands, because of the fashion for making them stretchy which totally inhibits the durability of denim. If you haven’t bought jeans yet I recommend Finisterre jeans - they do 100% cotton no elastic organic jeans and they also haven’t been stonewashed etc so the cotton is very durable. Worth the investment in my eyes especially if you only want to invest in one pair for a capsule.
