I was addicted to coke a few years ago but now I'm coke free! Thank God I switched to Pepsi!

I know that it wasn’t intentional, but you gotta love the line “mostly seen in pregnant women, ‘and people with other mental disorders’” … I know it wasn’t intended to be phrased this way, but the irony. I think any woman who has ever been pregnant would also agree that it’s something along the lines of a temporary sort of mental disorder. Trust me, I speak from experience. 😂

As someone with OCD, I relate to all of these people and understand how it got there. It’s a gradual process and so hard to break once it’s there. It’s miserable

Sadly the lady that was addicted to stiffing gasoline passed away a few years ago 😞 unfortunately she couldn’t overcome her addiction.

When I was a kid I used to love the smell of gasoline. I actually tasted it when I was like 4 or so. Grew out of it pretty quick though.

When I was younger, my mother knew a woman who was addicted to Pepsi. She had numerous cases stacked in her living room every single day and drank about a case a day. Sadly, she passed away because the acid in the soda ate a giant hole in her stomach and caused her intestinal lining to completely deteriorate. Very sad.😔

Weirdest things people were addicted too was eating mattresses, air fresheners, dry walls, clay face masks, toilet paper, and soap detergent

I have the eating ice one. I didn’t know it had a name. I just enjoy it. I’ve been told in the past that it could be a sign of low iron levels but tests show mine are perfectly normal.

Food For Thought: Every addiction no matter what it is, is the result of trying to escape from something by going in the direction of a need that is currently not being met.

I love how when he mentioned pregnant women he after said “and other mental illnesses”

The guy with a rock concert addiction, he could turn it into something healthier like maybe becoming a journalist that reviews music.

Although not mentioned here, I remember the girl who was addicted to celebrities. I had a little obsession with celebrities as well, except I had a healthier way of fulfilling it. I aspired to be a red carpet correspondent. Never happened but much healthier.

0:54 its most commonly seen in pregnant women and people with other mental and developmental disorders? Implying that pregnancy is some kind of disorder?🤣 love it.

My friend is addicted to sniffing books, comic books, newspaper, you name it. Likes the smell of the ink I guess? Looks strange, but not life threatening, lol.

Blowdryer reminds me of me sleeping with my fan on every night. Only difference is, it's safer. Without it, I can't sleep. I used to have an app that would play fan noises while Leaving a window open or staying next to an ac if I was over someone's place for the night. Need the fan noise specifically and cold air blowing.

I’m actually diagnosed with pica (ever since I was 8 years old). My psych thinks it’s due to my ASD and ADHD (also with my depression, BPD, anxiety and OCD dendencies). I pull out my eyelashes and eat them- a lot of the time I don’t even notice I’m doing it! But with the help of therapy and medications I’m doing it less and less! Also I guess I’m incredibly lucky my eyelashes grow much faster than the usual persons (so I’ve never had the issues of eyelid baldness).

Love how at the start, one of the people said, “I love you Mr. Narrator!”. 😂

Eating ice is extremely common, especially in the southern U.S. It's not uncommon for people to order a cup of ice with nothing else in it at a fast food place. (BTW, Sonic has *the best* ice to chew on!)
