Check out the best shots of the day from Round 4 at the 2024 Mexico Open at Vidanta, featuring Tony Finau, Jake Knapp, Erik van Rooyen and Cameron Champ, among others.

The PGA TOUR returns to Mexico this week for the Mexico Open at Vidanta, the final event before the TOUR heads east. Tony Finau returns to defend his title. Incredibly, he’s managed finishes of T2-Win since it was introduced in 2022. He hasn’t missed a cut this season and claimed T19 last week at The Genesis Invitational. Nicolai Højgaard will also be in Mexico and enters the week on a run of 13 consecutive cuts made worldwide including a win, two seconds and a third. He finished 33rd at Vidanta Vallarta last season en route to earning his TOUR card via nonmember FedExCup points. Emiliano Grillo will also be teeing it up this week. He’s already made six out of six cuts on the season with four top-25s. He’s also two-for-two at Vidanta Vallarta with a strong T5 finish last year. Others to look out for are Thorbjorn Olesen, Robert McIntyre and Thomas Detry.

Just curious why the PGA can't put a highlight reel together in chronological order...

Great to see Knapp succeed. He was very nice to me when I saw him in the range at the Canadian Open

I am happy for Jake Knapp, Me and my kiddos followed him at the Korn Ferry Championship. Told my kids he is an all around player and you never saw him get real flustered. He shook my kids hands and said hello, all around nice guy. Glad to see him punch his card to the PGA Tour and get his first win so early on. He's going to have a great career.

Man it's not rocket science - tell the story of the final day from the perspective of the guys fighting for the win. Yes it's cool to see guys almost hole out or chip in but it means nothing without context, espec when they are 10 shots+ off the lead. Put those in a highlights reel called best shots of the day. Then keep the final day highlights for showing the ebb and flow of the guys actually fighting for the win. It'd be so much more engaging and enjoyable. It's as much about capturing the tension and pressure than just showing random good shots which have no context to them.

Last vid I said I didn’t know anyone, boring. This kid winning, celebrating with the Ducks jersey and pounding beers? Love it. Mental note, remember him 😂👍

Not even March and we have three rookie winners on tour already. Between Knapp, Pavon, and Dunlap, who does everyone think has the best chance at the rookie of the year?

I'm going with Knapp.

Next time maybe not put the winner raising his cap as a thumbnail if you wan't the highlight to be exiting.

what is wrong with putting highlighted shots in proper sequence? It's too confusing to see Valimaki eagled and co-led in the fist minute and then suddenly dropped to -15 again ? get your sh*t together pga
