Now, a question out of genuine ignorance- is it £25 better spent than simply routing a rabbet to support the plate and installing a hex insert nut in each corner of the base? Hope that makes sense. I'll be interested to see where this project goes from now on, because I've had an idea to build a multi tool top for my bench, where I swap out my kreg router plate, wit an insert for my circular saw, to create a table saw.
