I had the original Kreg table for years and for over a year now I have used the improved PRS1045 (the one in this video.) The MDF core makes this an extremely stable, flat, lighter weight and not susceptible to warping or rusting as with aluminum and iron. The powder coated steel base is built solid and Kregs casters work beautifully when moving around my tight shop and when you lock them nothing moves. (bought another set of Kreg casters for my drum sander too) I did add the Incra Mast-R-Lift-II router lift with the Cleansweep Magnalock rings for great dust collection from underneath the table. I try to use my router whenever possible now because it's my favorite machine to use. I wish I could post a photo. Not connected to Kreg in any way, just a big fan of their products.

I've had mine for 3 years. I love it. The table is still perfectly flat and I never remove the lift and router. The only complaint is that I didn't get the casters with it. I'll get a set for my remodeling. I also bought a Jessem Rout-R-Lift II. It fits perfectly. With the combined weight of the lift and router it stays rock solid with no need to screw down the plate. With the Veteran's 20% discount the price was very affordable. It is a shame that Kreg no longer gives the free shipping for Veterans. But, I understand.

I just put mine together today. I had a problem with my Kreg lift. It didn't fit in the cutout. The dropout that came with the table fit fine. I had to use a medium size bastard file and round the upper right corner just a little. It fixed the problem but I was kind of surprised that this got past quality control. Can't wait to get making dust tomorrow

I'd like to buy a miter gauge to go with this table, but the only one I see available is for a table saw. I'm wondering if that one would work for my router table? I just put mine together today and I absolutely love it. The precision in craftsmanship that goes into making these is incredible.

I'd love to know just how the fence is one handed adjustable. I have never gotten mine to slide like this. Adjusted the nylon screws and everything else I could do. I suppose if I were to grease the table top I MIGHT get it to move with one hand IF I were to use the middle of the fence to adjust it.

Other than that I LOVE this table.

This is expensive for a cheap mdf top. I can buy a cast or aluminum top for this price range... Idk why anyone who knows anything about tables would pay this price..

Consider buying a different router table. I have no problem spending money on quality work. I purchased the router table and the router system. The table came with the table scratched up and the fence dented. The quilty is poor and the directions are terrible. I am afraid to open the router system with what I have gone through so far.
