I mean, it's not Batman without some degree of combat skills and Detective work. So I wonder if after leaving Gotham Bruce lost all of his money and someone stole his vompany from him.
In Canon during the years Bruce was traveling he was declared legally dead and their was an attempt by various people to steal control of Wayne interprises but they were always stopped by Alfred and Lucius. So what if in one universe they succeeded in stealing the Company leaving Bruce Wayne nothing when he returns? I think this is an interesting voncept and i hope this is where they are going and if not someone does it.
