After the 15 player lobby update this new vent cleaning task is all set to feature in among us on July 7,cleaning the vent will prevent impostors from using it, yes, Impostors won't be able to enter, or exit a vent that's being cleaned. if impostors is already in the vent and you start cleaning it, well the impostors will be kicked out of the vent, which could expose the Impostor or force an immediate confrontation. Impostors can still use the vents after it's been cleaned, just not while the crewmate is doing the task. Also, while the task is just one vent for a game, any vent will be chosen at random for the task. And an interesting note, the holes on Polus are not vents, so Polus doesn't have the vent cleaning task

Although people think this is a useful task for crewmates, there are problems like the imposter could use it to their advantage as like bait to kill them (as long as there is no one else in the room)

Looks like both an advantage and disadvantage. Probably depends on what map u r on, how many imposters and crewmates there r, and how many have the task

They should add a 5 sec kill cooldown after being kicked out of the vent as punishment.

In the 5 second cooldown, the Impostor will process what just happened.
You'd also be confused if something you didn't expect happens right?
