As a native New Yorker the helicopter tour and Vanderbilt pop up aren’t worth it and are extremely expensive. If you want to look at the skyline at an affordable price, take the ferry to and from Brooklyn Bridge Park. It’s 8 dollars for a round trip. If you want a good view of the city without those ridiculous tourist gimmicks, visit the observatory deck at Rockefeller Center. Depending on the season you can find yourself ice skating or rollerblading at the base there. NY doesn’t have to be expensive for you to enjoy it!

Ah! So you visited the NYC! I was resident of the Long Island Hicksville neighborhood for 2 years and has visited most of these NYC places several times with my spouse, then the US born baby girl then with my in-laws then with my cousin and his bride using Long Island Railroad and NYC metro rides… I drove to Air India building once to clear an refund from them which they needed some evidences. You did not mention my favorite Empire State Building and Rockefeller Building where I have so many memories.

Even when I moved to DC, we still drove couple of times to NYC using car to enjoy these places again and again!
Some how, walking on NYC along with my friends family relatives gave me so much happiness to me !
Now, all those memories are over and we are now seeing NYC thru your eyes possibly 4 years after we repatriated to Bengaluru!
