Chinese people of today are very different from their ancestors.

The poverty of China was appalling 40 years ago. Even now the regional areas don't have sewage toilet and electricity. Still backward in thinking and ideology. Chinese progress is 9nly superficial. The students still have to go to the west to study technology, science, medicine, and business administration. Still very very poor spiritually, that's for sure. Everything is measured by monetary wealth.
