Mother murdered, infant abducted by father

Investigators said the father of a one-year-old infant abducted her after he murdered the young girl's mother in Monroe the day before Easter.

How does a father kidnap his own child? Was there a ruling by a judge that granted the mother full custody? This poor little girl will now grow up without a mother and a father who will be in jail. People really need to think before they act.

This is sad, and at the same Im sure this could have been prevented. I don’t know the whole story, but if the family court system would to change how they treat fathers and just be fair and split time with the children (if this is the case), a lot of violence against mothers would not happen. Pressure cause people to do a lot of things they wouldn’t normally do

As a woman and a mother, this breaks my heart. With that said, the courts are extremely biased toward fathers and that needs to change!

I wouldn't be surprised if the mom was using the kid as a weapon.

The parental courts are so messed up a boy who was raped by a woman and got her pregnant was forced to pay $15, 000 in back child support and he was the victim.
