Nah God Is Dope is still doing numbers. What Sharrod pulled off with his brand is legendary.

If Luv is a drug God is dope is not a popular saying, and nobody uses it

God is dope is the popular saying and I never heard of the other guy.

Give that man whats owed to him!! Too many people think it’s okay to steal someone’s idea and profit off it. Especially Black People stealing from their own.

Crazy thing is the brand was actually created by a girl who didn't trademark the name at all

I feel like King knew what he was doing. I really don't think anything will come of it. He didn't use the whole phrase, and it's a pretty simple line.

The bible says do not partake in the ways of this world. That's what happened to the company

The Trademark office not granting the trademark is already proof that there is some overlap. He's half way to winning.

I have an order coming this week and it took 6 weeks. That's unusually long. I've ordered before and it didn't take that long. I was wondering what the problem was, now I know.

I'm glad he's saying something because I didn't buy shirts to support a freaking rapper. Not to mention beyond the brand makes junky shirts. Too much verbiage and awkward placement. I only like the simple shirts like, God Is Dope.

Some may say you can't trademark loving God. Seems to me this isn't about that. It's about making sure the love of God isn't basterdized and used in a misleading way. We get enough of that at church.

Trust I would have never purchased shirts if I knew it was a cover for a rapper.

I didn't know King's company existed. If they trademarked the name then they'll win. It's great when we have business savy so people can't profit off of our ideas.

Sounds like a jealous businessman who don’t want to see another man succeed

This is why I have an issue with common phrases being trademarked. His trademark wasnt used because his trademark has a whole other line preceding god is dope. He wasnt the first one to say god is dope or popularize the term.

Aint like they used his designs or actual intellectual property he created, cuz again he didnt create the prhase god is dope.

I can see trademarking your own lingo you created if it pop, like snoop if he trademarked fa shizzle my nizzle, cardi trademarking okurr, something similar.

This ain't that. This is like paris hilton trademarking thats hot like that phrase hasnt been used for years before her. She wouldnt even use it in a specific context that only she did.
