128 club head speed isn't something an average golfer is ever going to achieve, I'd like to see comparisons in the 95 to 105 range.

Great review. First vid I've seen with an actual comparison to shots with an Ai Smoke driver! Nice work.
I game the Ai Smoke TD Max and the combination of great distance, modest spin and forgiveness is hard to beat for me. The price really is just getting silly with each new release.

112 vs 141 feet ball height is a huge factor.
Loft up the Ai a degree and it's gonna be close.
Actual loft per head would be nice to see. With the tolerances in heads, the Ai could be a 8.5° and the Elyte could be 9.5° actual loft but both stamped 9°.
Not saying the Elyte isn't going to be better-especially dispersion, but still too many variables head vs Head.

The smoke triple diamond is the most forgiving low spin driver I have ever hit. I know the smoke wasn’t the fastest driver ever but it puts a hit on the ball. I think I’ll keep my smoke for a while

Just got fit for the triple diamond, it's impossibly forgiving and straight for a low spin head! (Leaps ahead of the paradym even) The new Ai face is a thing of wonder. I predict it'll fit a lot more people than anyone could imagine

morning bud great clubbed speed, looked at performance review last year of ai smoke and the numbers were significantly better than this year's results against the Elyte. the gains really are marginal 0.1 mph club 0.3mph ball, 3 yards carry, 4.3 y total.
yes definitely gains but IMHO negligible. Thanks for comparisons.🎉

Interesting that you got lower spin with the new triple diamond model. Most other reviewers had the ai smoke spinning a bit less

Firstly, take a look at the thumbnail for this video where you show the Elyte triple diamond driver on the left, and on the right you are showing the Ai Smoke MAX Triple Diamond! This is NOT the regular long bombing Triple Diamond model. This is basically a MAX version with a few TD features, but it is not as long as the true triple diamond. So this is a totally bogus comparison. The triple diamond max is at least 8 to 10 yards shorter than the genuine triple diamond. A lot of people would not catch onto this by looking at the thumbnail, I noticed it immediately because I played the triple diamond max.so no wonder the driver would be a few yards longer. The new driver always has to look like the winner and they find a way to configure so the results are fake. What a joke.

I like the looks of the top of the ai smoke and the bottom and tail and bottom of the paradym

I just got fit into the triple diamond elyte with my ventus blue 6x velecore shaft.. the fitter changed the weights too. As my shaft is an inch shorter.
